The short tours listed below are ideal for persons staying in the Fish Hoek, Noordhoek or Simonstown area or for persons that have taken the train from Cape Town to Simonstown and then want to visit Cape Point and/or another of the attractions listed below: CAPE POINT TOURS (plus/minus 3 hours): Cape Point tour prices: From 1 to 3 persons the cost is R500.00 for the vehicle and driver guide (i.e. 1 person R500, 2 persons R250 each and 3 persons R166 each) excluding entrances. From 4 to 7 perons the cost is R750.00 for the vehicle and driver guide excluding entrances. Price on application for groups larger than 7 persons. Cape Point tour information: The Cape Point tour follows a circular route travelling along the False Bay coastline. We visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where you will be taken to the old lighthouse at Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. The entrance cost at the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve is R75.00 for adults and R10.00 for children. Highlights of the Cape Point tour include:

Cape Point and penguin tour information: This African penguin was previously called the jackass penguin because of the sound they make that is very similar to a donkey bray. The penguin colony is the only place in the world where penguins and humans live together side by side. It started with 2 birds in the late 1970's and the colony now is home to about 4500 birds. The entrance fee is R 35.00 for adults and R10 for children aged 11 and under. The penguins are most often excluded from the guided Cape Point tour as we can drop the group off at the penguins to view the penguins on their own and make their own way back to their transport or accommodation.
